New Dye Rotor Loader - 40 BPS

They have a quicktime video on their site, but they uploaded a youtube version of it yesterday:

YouTube - Rotor Loader Shooting 40BPS

Eyes off according to the video. Amazing to watch. $150 right now on ebay. Worth it? You be the judge.

I have a ROTOR on order from an Ebay Store (that just pushed the shipping time back a week..... )

But whenever it gets here, i'll do a decent review, and comparison to my Torque & Pulse.

I still think it's hideous.

I have not heard anything bad about them at all yet. I can't wait to see how this pans out in about 3 months. I will buy one if it still is good. I like dye's product. I would happily buy one granted it's everything people are saying.

What I don't understand is why a loader has to feed at 40BPS when PSP is capped at 13.3BPS, and it's impossible for someone to get higher than maybe 12BPS on semi with an electro (be honest!).

However, I do like the growing trend in quick-strip, tool-less designs.

I think it has more to do of feed rate consistancy than anything else, not to mention the ability to fire at full speed while running.

If you have a loader that peaks out at 15, you might not be as consistant a 13.3 as you would be with a loader that feeds 20, and that one wouldn't be as consistant as one that does forty.

Yeah, that's what I've thought, Murph.

After watching that video, I think I wet 'em. I would not want to be down field from that marker.

I believe the JRNY was delayed indefinitely due to problems with the boards. I remember seeing them for sale in the past month, though.

Tournament players are a minority. And being able to shoot as fast as physically possible is the new cool thing. I wasn't aware that modern loaders couldn't feed 13.3 BPS consistently, but I've don't really follow that kind of thing anyway.

Not going to lie though. Even though there is no real "point", it would be pretty cool to have that kind of firepower.

Where did you see them? I probably wouldn't get one, but the idea of how it works is great and would love to take a look at one.
