The e-mini hopper wouldn't necessarily need to be two halves, it could have some type of rear hatch for the internals to slip into.

See, I think LK hit it on the head with how this hopper should have turned out. It doesn't even have to be electronic. Just shaped differently than it is on the bottom. I can't help but figure that hopper, even while full, can't feed the greatest. But add even one side dipped down, I think that would help feeding a lot.

It's not even a terrible idea as it is, though I do agree with pointing straight down (or up) to refill paint is dumb.

I don't think that we are the target market for this particular hopper. Just because most of us are pump players and like to carry limited paint doesn't automatically mean we are going to buy a hopper just because it holds 50 rounds. I think it is obvious that this is geared towards the milsim guys who want to maintain the look with a slightly higher capacity than a tac-cap. This loaded is not my cup of tea but I can appreciate what they were going for and applaud them for the originality of the idea. As far as the photo goes - the loader is clearly photoshopped onto that Ion. It's hard to get a sense of scale without a real photo. Maybe it looks really badass! Besides, it would be hard for any loader to look good on that ridiculous Ion with the front site on backwards...

Some people's kids...

I don't even think it's a price issue anywhere as much as just some people don't particularly like the style of the hopper, or don't like a rear-mounted lid, or haven't seen any info on if it doesn't feed well or if it does feed well, etc.

I dunno, if there's a market for it, it'll sell. Maybe SpecOps players will take to this like wildfire?

How on earth did they get from Sport Shot to that ?
That is one ugly hopper.

well just throwing this out there,
the old horizontal "Lewis Gun" style
ammo drum could be another option.
the diameter and depth is a function
of just how much you want it to hold.

I love it.. if it can somehow spin while you shoot I'll pay $40 for one.

Also, it reminds me of that Black Hole carnival ride... lol
