Tippmann and US Army Paintball will release a new marker

Taken from the Tippmann Sports Facebook page: Login | Facebook

Last week Tippmann launched the TPX Paintball Pistol; next week U.S. Army Paintball has something new.

Just to peak your interest, this new marker is:
· Customizable, upgradable and affordable
· Durable, reliable and of course, made by Tippmann
· What the scenario player wanted next from U.S. Army Paintball

Here are just a few of the comments from some of the players that have seen this new marker…

This marker is going to turn some heads. I believe this marker is taking customization to the next level. With the huge popularity of Military First Person Shooters like Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Ghost Recon, this is the look players have been waiting for.

That looks AMAZING! A lower-priced marker that can be modded almost limitlessly? I can’t imagine why Tippmann won’t sell a million of them!

Wow! Another head-turner so quickly. Visually very impressive. A great way to draw new players in, or encourage people to expand their marker collection.

We look forward to sharing this release with you on Monday.

You can also see this new marker at U.S. Army Paintball: Play Smart - Play Strong some time on Monday. (June 1, 2009)

Is it just me or does it seem Tippmann Sports LLC released more guns in the last 5 years than Tippmann did in the previous 15 years?

Am I the only one that is bored with all of this "coming soon" kind of stuff from Tippmann?

Also, if this GUN is going to be produced or marketed with the US Army's support, why must they still call it a "marker"?

So, guessing from that silhouette it's not going to be an M40A3 lookalike.

68 special, pro lite, carbine, m98 and a5 were released over like a 15 year period, now tippmann is hyping a new gun every 6 months and they all suck.

Putting a stupid *** site rail or flashlight of different stock isnt customizing or upgrading anything.

Why is it considered luck when I put 5 balls on your face from a full run with my Ego, but skill when you shoot me in the back when I walk by the bush you've been hiding in for an hour with a pgp?
