HARB, that was my point.
the REAL STEEL FIREARMS MANUFACTURERS could sue the Paintball Manufactures on the same grounds HK is using if just the outward appearence
is enough to be actionable.

you just re-affirmed my point;
I think you may have reversed what I was saying.

BTW,
aren't those a great set of "HOPPERS" in that one shot?

I'm surprised SP isn't on that list. Look at the SP8. Apparently it was modeled after the HK XM8, while it didn't really take off, it is still using their design, almost exactly their design actually.

Did you get all frazzled and confused and try to go paintballing with it in your school yard because it looked like an awesome milsim paintball gun?

I think the idea that was glossed over here is that one company made an agreement to license the look and anme of the HK line for Airsoft. Now, if they dont pursue other companies just using the look and whatnot, they loose the right to ever license it again.

In short, they have to.

And you guys arguing over guns and milsim... you need to find a hobby (I hear painball is fun in the summer)

The Ruger MK is still made as the MKIII.
The AMT automag series is supposed to begin production again in the .30 carbine Automag III version first. Not sure if the .44s and 22 mags are slated for production either.

Either that or color... did H&K invent the color black?

HK has its own color actually called "HK Black"
Its like a Wierd Parkerized looking black color. You can buy HK black touchup paint from HK.

I think HK has every right to sue the companies that are using their pattented design. If it was public domain thats a different story

If there's a problem it's that a 12yr old doesn't treat a paintball marker like a real gun. NO it's not as lethal but a unlucky or well placed shot can kill someone. Dead is dead.

I wonder if H&K will go after G.I. Joe next.

I don't understand what H&k's problem is. It's not like they make Airsoft and paintball guns. If they do please let me know. As for arguing over guns and milsim maybe a little off subject but in the ballpark.
