If someone used a College team's logo or a NFL logo without paying the proper trademark fees they would be in a deep legal hole. I think this is the same thing. Profits are being made from HK's marketing and branding. Manufactures spend tons of money and time on branding. Consider "Coke" or "Budwiser"

lets see, all guns have barrels, triggers, grips and either a mag or clip. Next, the marble company is going to go after the manufactures of paintballs because they are round!

Yes, and all cars have wheels, fenders, hoods, and engines. So you can clearly not tell the difference between a Mustang and a Yaris. There's no marketing, research and development, trademarking, or anything like that involved. They obviously look so similar it's not worth it. After all that's Capitalism at its finest. Hk's influence is so obvious. The ergonomic grip, and the modern high capacity PDW style tape loader. A cheap Chinese made dollar store rip-off.

Are you people freaking serious? Are you telling me that you think for even a minute that the A-5 wasn't intentionally designed to look like the MP5? You'd have to be stupid not to see it. And BT's TM-7 is a real clear MP7 rip off. Its not a coincidence, it was very very much an intentional move to increase its appeal to those who like the weapon.
