The Trade Dress should have been a lawsuit months ago, when the TM7 and X36/ XP5 whatever all came out, unless it was licensed appropriately. It's paramount to Kia making a Veyron lookalike and Bugatti suing. I still wonder how some of the airsoft manufacturers get away with it, but I know at least a few of them have licenses.

If you want to play around with the real thing go play Call of Duty or buy the gun. I personally think that paintball guns should be designed as paintball guns, not imitations of "real steel". I'd be less skeptical of milsim if they used functional gear, but most of the upgrades are really just things that help with the make-believe.

The problem with this argument is that I have no problem with things like people in costumes and capes, or crazy annodising, and neither of those help you along either. I think it might be the "hardcore" marketing and attitude that makes the difference for me.

As much as I agree there is always the parents that won't and sometimes the companies NEED to step up to the plate.

More like the whole design of the TM7 being a direct rip off of one of their guns. I'm sure that's what sparked this, the other similarities to their weapons (Grips, sight,s mags, etc) was probably just fuel to the fire.

I'm sure H&K will win this...

It doesn't ****ing matter what they watch.

If a parent says: Guns are bad, they're evil! Then of course the kid will want a look-alike "anything" he can get his hands on.

If a parent says: Guns are useful for defense and hunting. They are dangerous, and can hurt and kill someone. Buy said kid a BB gun and teach him gun safety.

The said kid will have respect for paintball markers and real guns.

Get my drift?
