Gravity League 3 man pump tournament a resounding success!

This past weekend 3 man teams from all around New England showed up at AG Paintball to duke it out with their pump guns and limited paint.

Many teams wanted to play, but were quickly turned away when they realized they didn't have what it took to only walk onto a field with 40 rounds a player. Gravity League is a limited paintball tournament league.

Everyone there pretty much knew each other, and those that were new quickly became friends. There's a different atmosphere that can be found at these types of tournaments.

The preliminary rounds quickly showed that everyone there was quick with a gun, and snap shooting was a must.

The flag found at the 50 was pulled many times for quick points early on in the game.

The final 3 teams played a round robin style that ended up in a 3 way tie, forcing the 3 teams to play again.

In the end, there could only be one:

1st Place went to:
WMASS Destruction

2nd Place went to:
NH Blizzard

3rd Place went to:
Brass Brigade

I would like to thank all the teams that showed up to play and made our first Gravity League event a success.

I would like to thank the man in charge: Mark aka Fluff on the boards for putting this together.

I would also like to give a big thanks to: http://www.agpaintball.com (agpaintball.com) for helping us work out the kinks and give us ideas for future events.

We'll announce the next event as soon as we have a date, and for fields in the New England area that would like to participate, please drop either Mark or myself a line via PM.

40 rnd limit sounded like fun to us. Sucks we didn't have the cash/time to make it out to this event. Looks like everyone had a lot of fun.

Congrats to you top 3 teams!

Glad the event went well! I wish I knew about this sooner, but I'll try and pull a team together for the next one. Anyone in Central Mass interested? And at the cheez-its

The cheez its is kind of an inside joke with some of us. They may become a permanent fixture in the prize pool.
