This isn't exactly breaking news as it happened a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't see much on the forums about it. Figured I should post it up anyhow:

To all Dangerous Power customers, followers and fans, I would like to take this time to clear up any questions you may have regarding the current situation and future of Dangerous Power.

Dangerous Power has been acquired by Amazone Inc. therefore is no longer a part of Evoventures Inc. In addition to the change of ownership, Dangerous Power has also out grown its current location therefore needed to move to a larger warehouse. I know a lot of you are wondering how that will affect the future of Dangerous Power, our products and our customer service. I am here to personally assure you that Dangerous Power is not going anywhere and in actuality need these changes to help the company improve and grow to serve you better.

I will admit that there have been times when our customer service or service representatives seem illusive but that is why we are constantly looking for ways to improve. Our goals at Dangerous Power is to continuously grow and improve, not just our products but our customer service as well. We greatly appreciate your continued support of the company and patience with us when we are going through this transition. I am saying with confidence that Dangerous Power was a company built not only on great and affordable products, which we have, but on supporting our products and providing our customers the best support possible. This has always been our motto and will continue to be the platform in which we grow this company!

I believe they have some stake in a soft goods market, so I'm expecting a soft gods line from DP in 2010 along with a couple new marker offerings.

Let me take this opportunity to fill you in on some news here at Dangerous Power and maybe you can help spread the news for me.

The rumor you have heard is true, Dangerous Power has been bought out and no longer part of Evoventures Inc. The new company’s name is Amazone Inc. I will admit that there has been some frustrating times and complications during this transition, in addition we’ve also out grown our current location therefore moved as well. But not to fear because we have officially settled into the new location, business is running full steam again and we have plans to continue moving forward. There is no truth to the rumor that Dangerous Power has folded and will no longer be around, in actuality, that rumor is as far from the truth as possible. A big portion for this change of ownership was so Dangerous Power can continue to grow and expand to help re-invent the paintball industry. There are still many projects in the works and multiple markers for the near future.

I understand your concern upon hearing the rumors but I can assure you that the Dangerous Power you have known, supported and grown with will continue to grow. Our expansion and changes are only so we can help serve the paintball community to the best of our abilities.

If you can please help me relay this message to all of the Dangerous Power supporters and let them know that I personally am extremely happy to know we have such great fans and support for our products. yeah, hence why I said it wasn't new... It's old news, but I didn't hear much about it, or find much about it either.

I'm a big fan of the DP stuff, and the Threshold is one of my goto semis.

A few of my teamates have Threshys(sweet milling) - I'm still hunting for a brown one myself. Can't wait to see the next in the Fusion line that they bring out.
