Dangerous Power says: No more package deals!

Due to an increased number of dealers who have utilized package deals with Dangerous Power products, Dangerous Power has decided to take a stand officially put a stop to it.

From this point forward, no authorized dealers, retail stores or distributors will be allowed to package ANY Dangerous Power products together. We feel it is important for DP to maintain the integrity and value of our products therefore having it retain its value on the market is extremely important. The dealers who partook in such package deals have been warned and necessary punishment handed out. Please feel free to contact Dangerous Power any time if any company has violated these new rules.

Thank you for your cooperation and continuously supporting Dangerous Power and our products!

I don't get it either. I read, and re-read that... I'm assuming that if you bought a G3, and they threw in a flip DP ASA in there, that was a bad thing for not charging for it?

Not sure otherwise.

I think they are talking about companies such as ANSgear.com

Thanks Droop... They never said "other peoples products", so I just assumed they meant DP products together, but what you have there makes more sense. But if that's what they need to sell the product, then so be it. Hmmm...

They don't want to feel cheap by having their marker sold in starter packages like ions, tippmanns, and spyders.
It's not so much it being sold with just a barrel like Droop posted, it's selling them along with a hopper/tank/mask.

I've seen a lot of their guns sold with loaders and such. Look on ebay, the first 10 things you see will be Tippmann (or other) packages, built buy the seller, more often than not.

I would think that its more from stores complaining that they aren't making any money when online dealers are literally screwing them by doing package deals.

Seriously.. the markup on a g3 is less than 100 dollars.. after shipping to a store to be put on a shelf you don't have a lot of profit margin there once you consider paying an employee to sell it, paying your lease, paying for utilities etc..

Its a good thing to see the manufactures sticking it to the online retailers for trying to make it impossible for brick and mortar stores to make sales because quite frankly they can't afford to make only 20 dollars on 400 dollars of sales.

I give my props to DP! Now if other manufactures would start doing the same....
