I find the comments about Buna-N interesting. I work with elastomers daily at work, and the resources I have show that Buna should work just fine or better with CO2. However the data I have may not take into account energy shifts due to phase change. It could be that the Buna just can't handle the temps. Good info, this should help me rebuild my buddy's Blazer.
