| Active Member | My New Blazer! Well, after selling off my old BBT 'Phoon and Blazer a few years ago I started missing my Blazer. So, I began the hunt for another and fortunately I found what I thought was a pretty decent deal. However after receiving it I was a little dissapointed, but never the less a little elbow grease (and oil, rags, toothbruh, q-tips, sprinkle of water, a few tools and orings, and a trip to the buffing wheel) I am a little happier now I am just curious about something, it is a 1k Blazer (BZ710) and it seems that all of the areas that PPS welded or plugged didn't take the anodize very well and they are really visible through the anno. I don't know if this is common or if the anno they use was more of a transparent/translucent instead of opaque. Either way I am still thrilled to own another Blazer, but I was curious if this was common on the older Blazers? Oh, and it looks like the previous (only other) owner either dropped or hit the muzzle of the barrel on something and the nickel had flaked a little. It appears that the crown of the barrel is okay, but it has a little brass showing through. I guess I am just a stickler for the way I keep and treat my guns Without further delay, here it is: Smoke Gray annodize with single trigger 45 frame, 12" double ported nickel barrel, and nickel highlights. (BTW, I lightly oiled the body to help clean it up so you may notice this in the pics) Bigger Picture Bigger Picture

| I can't say about the smoke anno, but I have two 1k Blazers from the second month they went retail and the anno is fine. The flaking at the end of the barrel is not unusual. I've had two Palmer guns withthe same problem. Enjoy, Walker

| .:|Purification Admin|:. | smoke anno is clear anno left in the tank a long while, it forms a type 3 anno that is very hard. The bodys will show machine and weld marks through the anno, even if polished although then not as much. I have had 2 of these in that finish, and the color will vary from marker to marker.

| www.yankeepaintball.com | Nice Blazer Walrus! Did I end up with your old Phoon? I have BBT 45 in my basement right now. I know of 3 owners right now and I'm filling out the history as time passes. Tug
