Almost finished blazer

I finally got my Blazer
I played with it one day and decided that it needed some "upgrades"
When I bought the gun, it had a pump kit on it. After a few "glitches" in the system, I sent it back out to the creators to have some divine intervention.
I get it back and it works great. So now for "upgrades". I didn't like the way the tank felt on the gun, so I got a lapco drop forward. It really balances out the gun nicely. A new hopper was in order because the piece of crap halo hopper is not reliable enough.
I also didn't like the feel of the stock grip frame. It angled my hand up into the velocity adjuster. After a day of pay, it was less than comfortable, to say the least. Back to the bank account I went, low and behold there was enough for a 45 grip frame with a blade trigger. I wanted the 45 frame anyway, but the single trigger didn't feel right either. I installed the new frame and aired it up. It may need some minor adjustments, but with the new trigger, this baby rips. Wow, I'm going to have to pay attention to how fast I run through the paint.
Next to make it complete, I think it needs new grips. Where to find them and which ones to get? I'm not sure, but it definitely needs new grips that compliment the gun
Now for the pics

the start of the adventure

After the trip out west

new style pump kit

Almost complete...Still looking for the right grips

These grips should do

I'm partial to Hogue .45 grips. No lame DYE grip will ever touch my Blazer.

nice

Nice set-up Whiskers. I scored a blazer from the infamous Freedom as well. The drop forward feels much better huh?

I like the SP wood grips I have on my Blazer (this isn't my Blazer anymore, but I have the grips on my current one.)

She told me we couldn't afford beer anymore and that I'd have to quit drinking. Then I caught her spending $65 on makeup. I asked how come I had to give up stuff and she didn't. She said she needed the makeup to look pretty for me. I told her that was what the beer was for. I don't think she's coming back...

They are Smart Parts wood grips. They are no longer manufactured so you have to look a bit harder to find them. Ebay and here are two good places to start.
