| digruntled worker Join Date: Mar 2006 | blazer problem Well, I just recieved my 45 grip form palmers. It looked like an easy swap out. 2 screws and a connecting rod. I swapped it out and now I am having a few problems. There seems to be more air than should be coming out behind the asa exhaust ports. There also seems to be air coming out above the front screw on the grip frame. this seems to only happen when I pull the trigger. there is also little or no air coming out the barrel. It seems to cycle fairly well with the air on. With no air on, I cocked the ram and pull the trigger, the ram only comes partially back as it seems to bind I just got it back a few weeks ago from being fixed. (some of the same problem returning) What if anything could I have done wrong in swapping out the grip frame. Better yet, what do I do about fixing it.

| Seasoned Member | If you swapped frames on the Blazer, it needs timed. There is a timing guide on Paintball Palmer that should get you working. Take a few minutes to look over the diagram, gather the things you need, and have plenty of air. |

| MCB Member | the timing is different as the trigger and frame geometry changes. The sear height may or may not, but probably has changed, and the 4 way timing changed. the only real error that can be made in assembly is inserting teh brass timing rod in the wrong slot, if that happens, she'll yell at you.
