How long is too long?

How long of a wait is too long when contacting PPS? I believe I have waited about a week and a half now for a response to some mail I sent.

Would it be faster if I just called them instead?

It would defiantly be faster if you called them. I've noticed that some of my emails seem to slip through or go unnoticed for a while. You'll have a much better time calling them.

Dude... why do you torture yourself like this?

Just call them! They run an actual store with a door and a cash register and when they are not running the store, they are making guns.

I know they have an internet site, but that is largely Craig's baby and he is a new father of twins, so it's a pretty easy guess that his normal post-work internet work has been greatly compromised.

Add that to the fact that Glenn is still recovering from motorcycle wreck and experimenting with semi-retirement, not to mention all the work he has been doing with the Patriot Guard Riders, and you have a lot of emails without answers.

If you call them, someone will pick up the phone and you will have your answer. And NO, it does not bug them (unless you are an asss) when you call, even if you call often. Heck, both Lori and Marcie can recognize my voice at this point...

Stop the madness.... pick up the phone;

(916) 923-9676 and yes, that is from memory.

What he said
When I sent my blazer out for some fixin, I called before I sent it, after sent it, when I saw that it had been delivered (UPS), when I had a question about the new pump kit, a week later to see how the progress was going, a week later when it didn't show up when it was promised.
I failed to call when it got here though
I might just call sometime just to say hi to Lori, as she was very nice and answered all my questions. She also seems to understand that people are spending a bunch of money and want to be kept in the loop.
Although, I doubt they will have me on speed dial or voice recognition (like Drum is)
Just be nice, polite and ask Lori how her day is going. Remember, She's the one that packages and sends your markers

And it's ok to ask for Craig. He's usually the one that knows what's going on in the shop at any given time.

I really am not too worried. I was just checking to see if this is the norm.

Thank you all.
I will be calling in the morn/afternoon.

How did it go?
I also wanted to add that Lori was really nice and helpful when I paid for the rest of my Nasty. That ment alot considering everything that went on in my life during the end of the summer and eairly fall.

Maybe tonight I'll post the entire story behind it. It's sort of funny, and this makes more sense.

How did the call go? It's so hard not to start asking random questions and order more nifty stuff!

Took a few weeks for one of my responses, but I did ask a PITA question.
