Pretty much I'm stuck to EMR or playing with friends. I'll have to see when I get up to Fairbanks. Truthfully within a decent time frame I want to own enough land for my own darn field for invitation only games up there. I'll see.

As for marriage proposals and stuff...
Tal is right about laughing at that commentary.

The reasoning behind this Nasty was interesting.
An ex of mine got a second chance last summer. He was a compulsive liar, I thought he'd changed. I told him if he (or anyone else at this point) was serious about wanting to be with me in the long run there was a list of mostly custom paintball guns I wanted to receive first. Sort of a modern day dowry to me rather than the parents.
The PPS Nasty Hurricane was item #1.
I have a list of other items I want as well. Some are rare, or just really pricey. Other than paintball, there's a few other hard to come by or expensive items like something from Meschantes in leather... and all.

Not selling myself to the highest bidder by any means, but I WAS trying for proof someone was serious. As for now, well, life can be different. As for a direct list of custom ideas on what I want next, I'll keep that under my hat for the time being. Just because I don't require constant gifts from a certain person doesn't mean I won't save for myself and own new toys when I want to.

So back to the story, said ex DID end up paying for most of the Nasty before we parted ways. Was it worth all the money or lost time or effort or emotional stress? No. Not at all. Did I learn something about life, yes. Even so, I love my Hurricane. The etching on it which reads "Veritas" is Latin for Truth. Sort of symbolizes a good deal of my life and hopefully will help me remember what is important.

So yeah. That's the back story.
I regret to inform you all: Marriage proposals will be turned down, unless certain criteria are met beforehand. A certain exception may exist.

The only thing I see as missing is a green elbow for the left side, but then again I just inherently associate red with right and green with left since at work, that's the color coding we use to differentiate for the 3D IMAX...

Awesome. Makes me wish I had more free cash and almost no mortgage payment, although slowly owning the roof you sleep under is also a good thing.

dang, do you know how many people have now drooled over that new nasty?
All that aside, it is a beautiful gun, happy hunting.
