pirate guns????

okay, just so I'll know, what is the deal with these pirate wood stocks? I looked for a thread about this and couldn't find it. How much are they, what gun is used for the conversion, and is it a Palmers conversion?

Just a side note, has anyone seen a nasty version?

the pirate stock is just a cut down regular stock...

all three are nasty pumps...

Those are AWSOME!!! I am soooo envious of those pumps. I am waiting on my first Houndstooth, so my collection will probably look something like that in a few years, although I want a nasty pug made in hulk green if possible.....

Is the cost the same as a KP or Hurricane, only they charge you to cut down the stock?

the black powder coated pirate stock cost me around $1400 for the whole deal, but it's a nasty painter, not a nasty houndstooth...

cost is relative but ask the shop if you have a specific want, and i'm sure i was charged craig's time to cut down the stock...
i do know he powder coated it w/out my knowledge or say-so, but it looks cool all black and silver...

i've been a GW for 3 years, so pace yourself...

what the heck is a GW?

Thanks for the info. I know they are out of my price range currently, but I can always dream

I am just guessing, but is a nasty painter kinda like a nasty Hurricane, but older and a pump?

GW = Gun whore. Here's a little definition I made:

Gun Whore, n. Pronunciation Key (gn), (hôr, hr): A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain of weapons consisting of a metal tube from which a projectile is fired at high velocity into a relatively flat trajectory.

Here's a KP I used to own. I called it "The Club" because of the shape of the butt of the stock:
