no, depending on the internals actually used, the innards are either two nested peices or one peice (which then you really screwed), regardless, the ASA has to come off as the air fitting pins the guts in the phoon.

You then get to convince the front peice (LPR body) to come out of the front of the phoon. That is great fun on the oldies.

However, the second half (if you were lucky) that you then left behind has 2 o rings on the stem that goes inside that front peice. Due to their age, they may or may not survive this removal.

If you find that inside peice, look around the UEF is black annoed, you may (or may not) have the recently found 'one peice innards' like my hurc 167 has. In that case the whole marker has to be torn down to get in there.

Removing the RVA , spring, rod and hammer, then looking down the back tube and seeing if there is a JAM nut is a good indication if you have the two peice internals.

I'd still plan on having things at hand for a total rebuild, might as well not have to re do it for a good long while.

I think the PPS guns and the Excals come close to each other for difficulty of total rebuild.

Personally, the only thing I would fix would be a leaky piston seal, which you don't have. The rest of the LPR is a headache because it just never comes out smoothly. But, if your mechanically inclined take it apart first, if you can get it apart you should be able to put back together. If you cant, then it didn't cost anything.

Your shorty phoon, was mine, is a one off. The asa is much closer to the grip frame than standard phoons, allowing it to be shorter altogether, It has unique internals to accomplish it.

Here it is as I had it.

Yeah, that's the one. It is in virtually the same configuration now except I use macroline and a drop-stock. I think this has to go back to the shop for repair. I guess I'll be using one of the cockers for a while, this was my primary, although I have something like 20 guns. Thanks for all the info guys.

The funny thing is it was Tim Firepros once along time ago, he decided old Phoons werent his style, he traded it to a guy for an Angel,I bought it from that guy, and now since Tim works at PPS, working on repairs, he'll get to work on it again.
