Like Chaos posted, older Angel threaded barrels are good candidates for this proceedure. Autococker barrels seem to work well too. | |

| Pump Gun Dealer | I just use the PPS barrel that mine came with (10" single ported matched brass barrel with a sight pin). But it's quite easy to turn down a barrel to fit a Blazer if you have a lathe. It's not something you're going to be able to do with a dremel if that's what you're asking. It's not a matter of cutting off length of the barrel, you have to turn down the outer diameter to 0.795" for a length of either 2.30" (for a 1k blazer) or 2.03" (for a 2k). Autococker barrels will work (most of the time), but the best are the old Angel threaded barrels. |

| Spread The Virus | All you need to do is get the barrel or kit you want and have someone at a machine shop or someone with a lathe turn the barrel down to these dimensions. ![]()

| Rec Poster Join Date: Oct 2006 | Yes, I was considering something like the dremel... So, what you're telling me is that it might work with a lathe (new word to me!) and with old Angel barrels. How do i recognize the old and the new barrels? Dont want to make any mistakes. Please explain the necessary steps to me so that i can look for someone around willing to do it for me... And how hard is it to convert a mamba barrel kit, with Angel thread? Are the backs harder to convert? Which barrels have a larger OD than the PPS, allowing to be turned to the Blazer? (just want a wider choice) Apologize for all the questions. I dont know where else to turn.... It probably is just easier if i found one for sale....(is anyone taking a hint?!) | Rec Poster Join Date: Oct 2006 | Are all Angel barrels fit to be converted? I saw an Evil Kit for the Angel, and i'm considering converting it to the Blazer, but I'd like to know if its a good one to be turned. How are the shocker barrels for the turning? Thanks Last edited by Martelo; 03-18-2007 at 03:49 PM.. |
