| Administrator Join Date: May 2006 Location: Trenchtown | I noted no significant problems of alignment in his clamp. You can feel the gap between the clamp and the solid body, but otherwise the barrel area feels smooth. However, when you look into the bore/barrel area (with barrel removed) and in the right light, you can see something like 1 or 2 rings that are just barely perceptible. Also, the barrels that we tried to jam in exhibited circular marks where the barrels were rubbing on something inside. My advice to Mike was to leave the Blazer, which shoots very nicely, alone and build a collection of barrels that do fit. D; |

All the guns have their quirks (although I don't like this quirk) I can work around it. You guys know anybody local with a lathe

(this from someone who's had as many as 6 different Blazer barrels at one time - but I found that none shot as well as the 12" matched, ported barrel that came with it, though I do hate porting) | |
