Blazer owners questionaire

Who here has Blazers? Let's have a roll call.
I have long said that if I could have only one paintball gun, it would be a Blazer. Let's hope it never comes to that, though, as I have two Blazers and would be VERY hard pressed to choose between them.

Tell us;

How long have you had your Blazer?

Did you buy it new or used?

1K or 2K? Serial numbers?

What percentage of your paintball do you play with a Blazer?

What's your favorite barrel for your Blazer(s)?

What non-PPS accessories do you use on/with your Blazer, aside from loaders, air tanks or drops?

My answers to the above would be as follows;

1. I first bought A Blazer in about 1999/2000, now long gone. I have owned about a half dozen over the years and still have two; BZ2096D (new-Xmas 2004) and BZ457 (used - Summer 2002).

2. About 10-20%, not as much as I would like, but the wood calls to me more loudly. That is hopefully going to change.

3. I prefer the PPS brass, but I just got a J&J in .685. I have used a .689 Stiffi with decent results only the gun felt light like a box of tissues.

4. I use Smart Parts composite wood grips on both of mine. I love those and use them wherever I can.

I will take some new pics today, hopefully, as all my existing pics are outdated.

D.

I've had my Blazer for about 2 years now.

Traded Wharfrat for it.

1k BZ326

Whenever I play semi she's the one.

My barrel choice is PPS ported brass, I've also used the Stifi .689 barrel.

Just recently bought some nickel highlights(bling, bling) for her. Running her on anti-siphon CO2 and dual PPS regulators. I also favor the Smart Parts wood grips, she has the rose colored ones.

Q: How long have you had your Blazer?
A: Current Blazer - 2.25 years, previous Blazer - 2001 through 2005

Q: Did you buy it new or used?
A: Both used. First one bought from Wharfrat (via POG), second bought from...ok, I don't remember, but it was via POG as well.

Q: 1K or 2K? Serial numbers?
A: Both 1k - BZ590 was first, BZ799 is current

Q: What percentage of your paintball do you play with a Blazer?
A: Not enough. 75% of my semi play, but that's only about 20-30% of my total playing time.

Q: What's your favorite barrel for your Blazer(s)?
A: The 12" ported, powdercoated, and matched one it came with for most paints, a Lapco AutoSpirit for appropriately-sized paints.

Q: What non-PPS accessories do you use on/with your Blazer, aside from loaders, air tanks or drops?
A: First one was 100% stock, but had a stock WGP reg on it, current one has early black Dye stickies, otherwise it's bone stock.

Bought mine new right before spring castle last year. It was used at castle, Fort worr and Fall Castle (by dad).

Never had a problem.

Stock Configuration: 2k with 10" brass unported bbl and full length sl forgrip. Rear and vert asa. Rear asa plumbed with hardline directly to valve. Male stab and stab stock. Sheridan style grip frame with pmi rubber grips.

Alternate config: Rear asa plugged (or old adjustable smartstock installed). Stab in vert with drop and bottomline.

The only reason I've not used the stab stock more is that it's too short for me and my looooong arms.

I will never sell this gun.

SN and pics when I can dig the gun out of my parents basement... hopefully this weekend.

How long have you had your Blazer?
First one I got in a trade back in June 05 (BZ153) and sold it a few months later. Just bought my second one back in Feb (BZ710), so almost 2 months.

Did you buy it new or used?
Both were used. Luckily the second one I purchased was from the original owner who got it back on 2001.

1K or 2K? Serial numbers?
Both are 1k - BZ153 and BZ710

What percentage of your paintball do you play with a Blazer?
Well I tried to play a game with it after I first got it, but that was after staying up all night replacing seals the night before. So, I guess around 25% for this year since I have only played with it a quarter of one day of play.

What's your favorite barrel for your Blazer(s)?
The stock (and only) barrel...10.5" double ported nickle plated goodness.

What non-PPS accessories do you use on/with your Blazer, aside from loaders, air tanks or drops?
Still stock and I am working on getting more PPS accessories!
