inside plunger

I'm working on the reg in the bottom tube of a Typhoon. I've looked at all the diagrams. They're not helpful on this question. What's suppose to be IN the plunger? I undid the allen screw and there was a spring and a flat rubbery seal. They are not pictured in Craig's explode picture. Are they suppose to be in there?

inside the plunger is a spring, small flat metal disc and flat seal that acts as an over-pressure relief if i remember correctly. put them back in with the seal first, then the disc, and then spring and then the hollow lock screw. the hollow lock should be flush to the end of the plunger if it's the old style...

for future reference, this addition information was in a PM

They started adding the little washer-like disc later, so if it's one of the old ones it probably didn't have one. As for the hollow-lock being flush, just screw it into the plunger once all the other components are in there until its flush with the flat top of the plunger, this should set the overpressure relief to what it was at the factory. if you're having problems with it leaking you can always tighten it down a bit until the leak stops, it's mostly to keep the pressure going to the switch down which will make it bind up at very high pressure. if it's operating properly the LPR should give enough pressure to the switch to operate properly without being high enough to leak through the overpressure valve.
