Pyre operating pressure...

Fellows,

I have a nice cherry pyre (071) and I decided to run two stabs on it, (I know it may be over kill) but like the male stab as a fore grip...
So what is the input / operating pressure for a dual stab set up?

What would be the PSI for the male? as I have not way to know the pressure for the internal stab?

Right now the male stab is set to 500psi, and it is shooting 245-265 ish, barrel 0.685 has widgets (sp?) and the paint is fresh the RVA is one turn in.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Gabe

What I seem to be getting the best consistency a from was to turn both reg all the way in, then brought the integrated reg out 2.1/2 turns amd the inline 1/2.
With a T2 main spring, I'm able to adjust velocities from below 200fps to 290fps.
There's also this thread you can check out.

Jack,

Thanks for the response and for providing the link to more reading, will play with the pressures this weekend and see how it goes.

If I`m understanding this correctly UP the pressure on the Male stab to around 600-700PSI and UP the pressure on the integrated one as well, them start to lower pressure integrated/male until reaching desire FPS.
Now is there any adjustments to the RVA?
Or just use it to fine tuned once pressures are set?

Thanks

Gabe

right now with the RVA wit 2 turns in from flush, I'm maxing at about 200fps. Played at a field that uses RAP4 powder rounds and that was the limit.

I don't have a way to check the integrated reg's input pressure, so I'm keeping a difference of 2- 2,1/2 half turn apart from each reg.
Essentially, what you want is the inline higher by 2 turn, and the integrated at a lower psi.
