Brasso, Never Dull, Nano grit Wheel Polish, Tooth Paste, silver polish, flitz, and many other metal polishes. You can use it on the inside of the barrel as well.

Thanks alot.

How do you apply these, with a cloth?
When people say toothpaste they make it sound like toothpaste and
toothbrush combo. Which Im dead certain would leave little scratch marks

It shouldn't if it is just a nylon bristle brush. But in most cases, yes you use a cloth to apply the polish.

Electroplating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Electroplating is primarily used for depositing a layer of material to bestow a desired property (e.g., abrasion and wear resistance, corrosion protection, lubricity, aesthetic qualities, etc.) to a surface that otherwise lacks that property."

Oh, and I just use an old soft cotton T-shirt to shine with the flitz.
