Issues with adding bottom line bracket with current grips

As the title states, I was having issues adding the bottom line bracket to my super stocker with my current grips. I have a bottom line bracket which essentially slides over the grip frame and allows me to add a stock or bottom line. I currently have a set of pmi right handed wood grips and a wrap around set of houge palm swell grips. Both are awesome but have little windows on the back of them, which fit in the recess of the grip frame itself, but when used with the bottom line bracket, leave a gap between the bracket and the grips. The screw will not extend far enough to secure the grips either.

Does anyone have a set of grips for sale which would resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Alex

Try going to Bacci, any PGP grip should work.

I looked there and I think that may be the solution. Essentially I'm looking for Sheridan grips which have a flush back to them

This may also interest you. My Supperstocker came with the wood grips, they have much less play then the old Sheridan's.

Yeah that's the downfall of the UMB bracket. You could get the PPS battle grips (which are 2 piece) then carve them out so they meet at the front.

I have a new style Palmer's trigger frame that is basically the Sheridan frame but it is drilled for a bottomline. This way you could have regular grips without the UMB and the bottomline.

I'm looking for an older style Palmer's gripframe with UMB (I like the downward angle) and I just run the PMI rubber grips on it. I'd be willing to swap you if you like.

We could solve each other's problems. LMK.

The frame you are talking about Krause, unless it is even newer is basically a sniper frame, IE an early mag frame (before they went to the stronger plastic frame)

IE same thing stock on blazers. I like that frame a lot.

Kraus,

If I was not in Afghanistan, I would swap you today, however I am unable to do so at the moment. I don't think my wife would want to venture into taking the frame off either. I'll trade you when I get home? Novemberish? If you can wait?

Sure thing. I was going to put it up for trade but I'll hold on to it for you. Consider it a deal! Stay safe over there!

I'll get some pictures of it soon so you know what it looks like.

I looked it up on PPS and yeah, you're right. It is this frame but it has a modified front screw to match up with the brass guns.
