Experience with dual Stabilized Blazers?

I am experimenting for the first time with a dual reg'd 1K Blazer. Anyone else tried this?

Loved it? Hated it? Bought the t-shirt?

If you shoot a dual reg'd Blazer, what pressure balance do you try to maintain?

Thanks,
D

I run a 2K over here in the Frozen Tundra......Craigs walk through on it worked well for me.

Double stabilizer setups.

I used to run a dual regged Blazer on C02 for years. I believe, but I could be wrong, but I felt my blazer was a little quieter on C02. However due to the advent of compressed air becoming the standard, I have finally switched over to compressed air. Tanks and regs are dirt cheap nowadays so the cost of 2 stabs kind of kills it for me.

I ran 2 stab on my blazer a little bit. I started with one, went to two and came back to one.

I couldnt tell any noticeable differences. Maybe +/- 4 fps over the chrono. I ran my blazer off a normal co2 tank.

+/- 6 fps is no problem with me. I dont play for money so I dont need to play seriously. There is no difference to me from 274 to 280 or 280 to 286. So one stab is fine.

So with adding that double stab, it just made my shots a TINY bit more consistent in my eyes.

I've shot a pump dual stab'd blazer, but not enough to say anything about it. Wanderlustre was whizzing balls by my ear all freaking day with it though.

himurax13: Phantoms are definitely louder on HPA... and I think my mag is too, I'll bring a CO2 tank and compare them side by side tomorrow.

The settings I have always heard are 600 and 400 PSI

Thanks for the links and the advice, guys. I do not know where I got the idea that the second Stab had to cut the input from the first by half.

A 200fps range will be MUCH easier to achieve.

Also, I realize the gilding of the lily that this represents. I have a couple of other Blazers that I run with one Stab and HPA, but I have this 1K that is sitting on a pile of unused Stabs, so I thought I would try to "edjumicate" myself on this nuance.

Keep at least 100 psi between the regs, We prefer a 200 psi difference. This is the best setup if you plan on using CO2 and HPA.

1k Blazer
1st - 2nd
500 - 650

2k Blazer
1st - 2nd
400 - 600

Typhoon
1st - 2nd
650+ - 750+

Thanks CP.

Just so I understand, are those numbers demonstrating the range of the preferred input pressure for each type of gun or are you offering a suggestion as to the span between the two Stabilizers there?

I was thinking of putting the female at about 800psi and then adjusting the male to around 600psi.

I have not yet tried it over a chrono. Maybe today after I go to the post office with some much overdue packages.
