| Looks great! I really like the look of the ASA and port in the stock, it looks clean and professional!

| Thanks kindly all C6: ya, chip on the feedtube was there when i took her out the box. There's another spot on the back of the top tube that's also chipped, and one or two small spots in other places... Currently looking into making a MOLLE adaptable backed Bandoleir/Scabbard, for the back o my Vest. "Keep the 'KP' around for close-encounters". -baller

| i'm sure that is true, but no matter what finish you choose, it should not arrive with chips in it. now if he took it out for a day of play and those chips happened while using it... oh well, lesson learned... but that is not the case. |

| Occasionally I have noticed issues with the finish comming out of the box with imperfections. On my most recent build I actually have a chip in the matte nickel. I have never thought that they were bad enough to raise hell over. Mostly because it would then take another long period of time to get the peice back, and I will probably end up doing some kind of damage to it during normal use anyway. That said I do feel they should use a little more care when assembling finished peices. When I used to work in the auto plant we called those "mutilations" when some guy would drag his watch or belt buckle over the brand new paint.

| i recently had a new gun shipped to me and it had a few small dings on it that had occured during shipping. the dings were minor and really in a spot that wasn't that noticable. i honestly felt bad for bringing the flaws to his attention but i wanted to let him know that the damage had occured in the shipping process and i wanted to just make sure damage wouldn't happen to any future shipments. well, after the damage was brought to his attention, he sent me a replacement with no questions asked along with a return label to ship the damaged item back!!! he went above and beyond to make it right and it's people like that that get my business. i know PPS will do the same. i bought 2 Blazers back when they had the twin special sale. one of the vertical ASAs' had been damaged and they replaced it for no charge. i did have to pay to ship the damaged item back and they shipped the new part once they received the damaged part. i do understand that in Psycho's case it's a little more complicated than just replacing a part and he'd have to wait for several weeks/months to get it redone. i would atleast bring it to thier attention to help prevent it from happening in the future. in Psychos case, it looks like it may have been a cable tie that could have chipped the paint. |
