A pyre is a big stack of wood used to cremate bodies... think viking funeral.

You may have noticed that palmer names have themes... the brass guns are named for different types of storms, hurricane, typhoon, squall... the blazer is named for fire evidently, and well keeping in the theme the pyre would have to be named for something that was really hot.

K.... thanks.

May have to save all my pennies and get one... would love to try one first though.

I still have not seen a good figure on the shot count on a 12 gr. I seems very efficient so it should do well. Now for a stick feed to fit...

Peace

As far as running 12 grams in a Pyre.....

I got 19 shots of one 12 gram...the first shot was 285 on the nose...then it rose slightly after 7 shots to the high 290's and went back down after each shot after that but was still shooting great on that 19th round when it just exhausted the 12 gram...

I personally feel that it was pretty darn good...

BigMatt: that's pretty odd, I think. I've seen a Blazer cycle at least 25 times on a 12 gram, and isn't the Pyre essentially just a Blazer without the pneumatics ?

Just Cycle, or shoot at a decent velocity?
