i doubt it has anything to do with temp or "bad fill". sounds like you need a new cup seal.

buy a valve tool and seal kit and change it yourself. it's an easy fix.

Ok, breaking news, I aired it up today again, and it seems the leak is coming from the bottom tube, where the 12 Gram would go if I didnt have a VA. Does that make any difference in fix?

if it seems to leak out the front/around the asa, it's either the valve to adapter o ring (just sits there) or the O ring on the front of the air adapter, or, rarely, the asa where it screws into the adapter.
by adapter, I mean the now usually silver air adapter that feeds the valve.
the valve to adapter o ring sits against the adapter and the valve seals against it.
cupseals/broken/mis-seated valve springs... tend to give down the barrel leaks (bolt installed)
