| Cost of a Nasty Hurricane Hey, I was scouring the Palmers website, and couldn't find a price for a Nasty Hurricane (Built from a stock and trigger, if you need to know). Anybody know the price off the top of their head? Or, is Craig?

| It theory it should just be thel cost difference between a Typhoon and a Nasty Typhoon + the stock hurricane. Mounting into the stock and the 4 way valve etc shouldn't cost more Stock Typhoon: 643 Nasty Typhoon: 990 Difference: 347 + Hurricane 969 Total: 1361 Makes sense, considering you could buy a Nasty Typhoon and then pay $350 to get it converted to a Hurricane. But then you add the spring feeds (+$200), blazer detentsx2 ($90), pump kit ($70 for a single, so $100 for a nasty?), & ASA ($40) and you'll be sitting at the same price as my first car

| My guns are already worth more then my car. Actually, more then mine and my brother's cars combined. And about a month's worth of gas for both. Yeah, I was thinking it's be in the $1500 range, but I wasn't sure. I had a custom springfed Nasty Painter priced out a while back that came to that price, so I figured out that my custom bits and the springfeed would come out to about the same price as pneumatics. But, still, I'd like to hear for sure.

| If you just want a standard Nasty, you're best bets probably picking up a Nasty Typhoon used and getting it mounted. Will save a lot of time skipping hot work as well. If you decided to build a springfeed one from scratch, let me know, maybe we can go for a group discount.

| Heh, we need to bug Freedom to set up a Hurricane Bulk Order next spring. I might do that, actually. My roommate plans on getting his KP-3 Hurricaned at some time too and, at the very least, it'd cut down on the shipping a bit.

Hurricanes are not very popular with the PPS staff. As Craig always says, "We are a metal shop and whenever you have to convert, even temporarily, a metal shop to a wood shop, it sucks." Every few years, PPS toys with the idea of discontinuing the Hurricane from their catalog. I am fairly certain that a good sized Hurricane Mass order (setting aside the question of whether they would ever agree to that) would go a long way toward making that a reality. D
