My Dilemma

so with my stimulus package supposed to show up sometime soon im trying to decide what to do with it.

what im trying to make is pretty much a pirate pistol. right now i have a pgp2k that i got off ebay for 40 bucks and im trying to decide if i should send it to palmers to get work done to it or just get a pug with the options i want on it already...

so if i was to keep the pgp i would want to have it rebarreled and made sidetube spring feed with widgets and a blazer style detent. the performance tune and the ultra quikstirp bolt. oh and a bead sight like the kp's on the barrel. and is there some way for it to be made to use a k series trigger group and have a bolt put on to attach it to a wood stock like the kp?

if i was to go with the pug i would probally sell the pgp and pretty much exact same setup as above but it would already come with many of the things i would have to pay to have done to the pgp...

or you could take the side of my girlfriend and point out that i dont necessarily need another gun but ya thats no fun at all.

or if you have some other option i dont know about to get the same thing i want that would be cool but ill let you know now im pretty much addicted to palmer's work since my kp went into their shop...

yep so thats my problem...

Well, just ask her exactly why you don't need another gun. There's no reasoning behind that. I say go with the Pug. Pugs are sweet guns!

Before I try to answer I need to know if your girlfriend plays and when was the last time you bought her something?

Cause i already have 5 guns... and im a poor college kid... but if i was to save the money it would be considered a leakage in economics and that would not help the economy get back up so i must spend it

Ok, I was intrigued so I called PPS to figure out how much all this would cost.

Upgrading the PGP - about $425
Putting it in a wooden stock (you need to supply the stock and trigger group) - about another $400
Upgrading a Pug to be what you want - I forgot to ask, stock Pug costs about $300 or so though.

So the PGP would be about $500 total, plus stock and trigger group and whatever it costs to install it.
Pug =$315 stock+ $20(?) for wedgits + $100 for springfeed+$20(?) for Blazer detents+ whatever it costs to install stock+~$450.

Seems like the Pug would be cheaper and it would perform better(PPS valve)>Sheridan valve)
