Turn around time on a Performance Tune

I sent an email regarding this about a week ago. It wasn't returned, so I ask my question here. How long does the average performance tune take?

Thanks a lot.

Completely dependent on how many guns are ahead of yours. I for one, have 2 in right now.

Best bet is to call in and see what the workload is like. Email works, but definitely isn't as foolproof as a quick phone call. That was they can up sell you on the ultra quick strip, wedgits and a ball detent

I didn't see wedgits on the site, how much do they cost?

Don't hold me to it, but I believe it's $35 to put onto an existing marker

Hey, ultra-quick-strip is worth every penny. Don't need Lori to tell me that!

Nope, still don't care for Smart Parts.
Gimmie a few minutes alone with the Palmer catalog and I'll get back to you again.

Calling in is the best for this sort of thing. Turnaround time on Blazer tune ups if like 1-2 weeks for me on average, but I don't pester.

I've had 2 valve rebuilds and those seem to take 2-4 weeks.

Good luck calling the shop!

I went with the standard quickstrip (no new bolt). Wanted to maintain the stock looks where possible.

I like regular quick strip better too. I like the strait sheridan pump rod versus the slightly curved PPS pump rod.

My blazer is going in for a complete rebuild and tune. I don't really care how long it takes.
