| Need help, my grip frame hates me :( Ok, so when I was playing today, my blazer started firing every second shot, double feeding, and generally causing me trouble, so I her down and picked up my trusty Miltec G2. This afternoon when I took her apart to see what was amiss i realized that my Bellcrank is worn way, way down, and that my switch rod was broken off at the end that goes up into the body. I also managed to lose my sear pin lock screw. Naturally I went over to the Palmer's website but couldn't for the life of me find the parts I need, so I was wondering if any of your have either a) any suggestions, or b) spare parts you are willing to part with? Here's a pic: ![]() As you can (hopefully) see the switch rod is broken, and the bellcrank is worn all the way down. Thanks in advance, Mouse |

| Seasoned Member | From the angle of the picture, it almost looks like the switch rod is in backwards. Were you banging on the trigger pretty hard? Call PPS for the delrin part of the bell crank assembly - they'll sell you one. You'll have to retime the gun once you have everything put together. If, in fact, the switch rod was in backwards, then you've probably worn away the part of the switch stem that the switch rod normally sits in, which also may be why the gun was malfunctioning. How about a picture of the switch area? Edit: I'm going down to my office to see if I have a spare grip frame with pieces parts. If I have one, I'll mail it out to you. |

| Seasoned Member | I have a bell crank from an old Sheridan style frame, and I have a switch rod that's been flattened / widened on the end that goes into the switch. I would think the bell crank would work fine for you, but if you decide to use the switch rod, you'll definitely need to play with the timing a bit. This switch rod will be more difficult to time than a 'normal' one. At the least you could compare the two and determine if the one you have is truly broken or not. PM me your mailing address and I'll send these items to you. |
