Tweaking a Typhoon trigger?

Got my Typhoon out on the weekend, and I had some troubles with short-stroking - it's got a double trigger and a PTTJ, just rebuilt the gun (although the Switch is still a little sticky, it seems.)

I've got a QEV on it, on the front of the ram, and the LPR is adjusted appropriately, got the VA flush with the end of the cap, and shooting around 280 fps. (Most consistent I've seen on CO2 - chrony-ing went "276, 280, 280, 280, 276 ).

I may just have to relearn how to shoot a Typhoon - it's been a few years and 5 Cockers - but I thought I'd ask if there was a way to tweak the trigger anymore.

Got to say, aside from the morons using A-5's with the R/T cranked up, it was a blast to get a fine PPS product out from the closet and go play.

With the QEV and the PTT you may need to retime slightly other wise lost of practice will help too.

Phoons do not have triggers like cocker they are a different beast and take a bit to get use to. once you do you will wonder why you cockers are so inferior in the trigger department.

Open up the grip panel and look at where the rod is attached to the bell crank. There's 2 holes. If the rod's in the top hole, re-attach it to the hole closer to the pivot. That'll shorten the pull a bit. Of course you'll need to re-time it so if you're not comfortable doing that then, well, don't do this.

I did this on my Stroker and Typhoon and it makes a big difference.
