Looks like I'm getting a Cane made...

Or at least a conversion. I'm putting my Typhoon into a Bluestreak stock.

Any thoughts on QEV's? I've got one on there, really don't notice the difference in cycle speed compared to a stock Typhoon. Other than that, I'm getting a female Stab put on it, and that's it.

Some people prefer not to have QEV's on a Hurc because it will require removing a chunk from the stock.

As to their actual effect, there is definitely some dispute as to whether anyone will ever notice a difference, even among the PPS crew.

That said, the fastest Typhoon... scratch that... the fastest PPS gun I have ever fired was a late model Typhoon with dual QEV's and a ProTouch Trigger Job. Rocking with that gun, it felt like the speed was going to shake the gun apart. I have two Hurcs with at least one QEV.

I also like how the qev blows a little breath of wind in your face when they are installed in a Hurc. When I played in the snow, it was just enough of a blast to blow the snow off of my mask lense.

Good luck with your build.
