Spring has about 4 more steps than SC does... You gotta rack the spring, open the tube, pour, close the tube, and release the spring.

With SC you just have to dump the tube and go.

I managed to get down to 15 seconds when I was bored one way with my NHT. It sure as hell wasn't achievable on the field ,though.

It's all true. Takes for ever to load 2 springfeeds. Whoever recommended the Thadaptors, where were you when I had mine built?! That's the only thing I would change...but...one of the bolt pins gets in the way of adding one now.

I have a heck of a time with a single springfeed. My most common mistakes are forgetting to release the spring or remembering to release the spring but forgetting to cork the friggin' feed tubes first. This latter will at least result in an exciting launch of (x) paintballs into the air (and/or into my mask) to the amusement of your friends and enemies alike.

I would almost prefer a muzzle loader...

PPS has a nice design of their own that accomplishes the same result as the "Thadapter". It uses a big delrin lever and meshes nicely with a springfeed.

I found with my new toy that the dual spring feeds take much longer to feed than two Squalls. Even longer when your adrenaline is pumping.
Having the spring feeds side by side make a little hard to feed. Then again, that's why my PGP or one of the two Squalls is usually straped to my leg. It never hurts to have a backup.

Very true.

I take the feed plugs off and then dump a 100 rd in the right general direction. Seem to be the most efficient way for me.
