| MCB Member | Hurc hardline leak It may be a sin to say this, but I just got a chance to gas up my new Hurricane and put 100 balls through it. I was amazing. The smooth trigger pull is better than my Typhoons I think. The accuracy made me want to go out and play today! I did have one issue. Air was leaking at the hardline. Right were the line screws into the 90. It looks like it has lock tight on it, but I am fairly certain that is where the leak is. I shot 100 balls and went through 1500 psi of air on my 13/3000 tank. ![]() How easy are these hard lines to work on? Anyone have experience with these and have a suggestion? Let me say that I would like to get this taken care of without shipping it back to PPS. I know that they would take care of it right away for me, but I JUST got it. I want to use it!! Thanks. |

| I know the hardlines are relatively new, so I'm not sure how many people will have trouble shooting experience with them. Is it possible it's coming from the fitting itself? Maybe try tightening the fitting with a flathead screw driver? |

Also, the more I thought about this: 100 shots for 1500 psi on a 13cu tank isn't that bad. | |

| the MilD MOD | Get a MAPP gas torch and some solder and you'll be all set I suspect. I haven't actually seen one of these new hardlines, so I don't know how they go together though. Of course, if these are soldered, those little airtight joints can be a b***h to get sealed, which is probably why it is leaking in the first place. |

| I have received two with the hardline. They are easy to take apart, watch for the small washer/spacer, at the asa adaptor. They can pivot and leak during disassemble/reassemble. The beauty of no solder is that they are removeable without effort. The downfall is its another spot that can leak. Grab a screw driver and remove it. See if something is in there. Maybe just the act of remove and reassemble will resolve your issue. But I do wonder why the lower one is discolored, is that from the oil leaking with the air? |
