| Fastest Spring Fed Nasty Reload time? Whats the fastest anyone can reload a spring fed nasty. I've just fiddling with my O/U and its pretty hard to reload. I need to open one feed with my right and then one feed with my left since its a O/U and then replace each feed with the corresponding hand. TOUGH work. I figure I could do it in about 30 secs

| Lol, thanks Jeramie. The O/U has a slight leak from the hardline and vented a 12 gram when I first aired her up. Dumped a ton of oil into the ASA and shot it through, seems to have cleared up the worst of it, needs a few shots to keep the hardline from leaking.

| I had it at 15 seconds practicing at home, then realized I was using my mouth to pull the lids off my tubes (which I had fastened together with tape, the lids with a string) But like Russc said: Tape them together. Throw em in a capless harness and you should be able to get 15 seconds... I used to sit in front of the TV and practice....ummm...reloading!

| I'm thinking you could cut that down a lot if you used a custom twist-open feed instead of plugs, to combine all of the operations instead of just the tube operation. Think standard twist open feed, except instead of turning each one individually, they are notched and there is a gear in between which you turn to twist both gates into the "open" position at the same time. Also, instead of on the sides, put both spring follower slots on top, at 11 o'clock on the right barrel and 1 o'clock on the left. The look loop at the muzzle end has to go either both to the right or both to the left. Link the two pins with a thin delrin block/plate/sled, and put the front sight pin on the block. As you're firing, your sight pin moves closer toward your face (indicator of how much paint you have). Obviously way more complicated to build but I think it's definitely possible. Reload process would be: - Grab front sight pin, push forward and twist to lock both springs into place at once - Grab rear knob and twist, to open both feedgates - Dump in two tubes (taped together) - Twist rear knob to close both feedgates - Release springfeeds Ghetto pic: ![]()

| I believe his feeds are on the sides of the gun. I do think that going capless would be a good start though.

| Already got a capless but yeah, the feed tubes are on the sides, not next to each other so I cant tape up a couple of tubes.

| Hold the gun in your left hand. Right hand, Use your thumb on one one knob and index finger on the other. Cup your hand over the top of the tube and slide both plungers back to the locking slot. You should be able to slide them both back at the same time. |
