I believe this refers to a clamping additional rod to provide more stability to the pump handle. It clamps to the main pump rod, and runs into the handle. It should be visible on newer pics of Pyres.

Having tried both, I can't tell the difference during game use. But I'm no twister.

Did they change the pump handle also or is that a custom request? I wonder what the stock feed is going to look like.
