WTF- Blazer barrel doesn't fit

I have a 2k Blazer. The barrel that came with it is a Palmer's unported 10", and it has always been a very tight fit, even with the barrel retaining screw loosened all the way. A friend loaned me a Stiffi to try out, and it doesn't fit into the barrel bore. It'll go past the clamp, but not into the body. It fits in his BZ just fine, in fact, it is slightly loose until you tighten the clamp. I tried another Palmer's barrel, and no dice with this one either- it won't go. I don't want to force any of them, but I am curious if anyone has had a similar problem? I'm going to call the shop on Monday; just figured I'd throw this out there to see if I get any comments.

Do you have a set of calipers? Can you measure the bore?

0.7975 according to my caliper. I'll have to measure it with a telescoping bore gauge on Monday at work, but I imagine my measurement is pretty close.

Did you buy it used or new? If used it might have taken a drop causing damage.

That is roughly the same measurement as mine.

Make sure the blazers in question are 2k also, the 1k and 2k barrels are different.

Used. I suppose that is possible.

Interesting. I'll have to check for a burr or something in there.

Everything is 2k. That was my first concern. All three barrels fit fine on my buddies 2k.

All blazers have the same width for barrels. The difference between 1k and 2k is the length of the barrel in the body.

And the 2k can use 1k barrels as well, but not the other way around IIRC.
