I heard about this from tedaut, details here:
Running 2K+ cocker off unregged 12g - springing recommendations? - Custom Cockers Forum

I'll quote the relevant bits here, but there is more info on the original thread

"AL Cable Stop
5/32" Diameter
This goes in the valve chamber before you put in the valve spring and further reduces the volume. It also acts to put some preload on the valve spring."

I will be transferring the guts from this gun to another body and can take pics if you want.

Just to bring this back OT - this is something that is possible with cockers, what about Palmers?

It'd be interesting to see how many shots you'd get with a 12 gram on a Blazer..

I get about 18 shots on this one.

edit to provide more info:

This was shooting 280 and at about 60 degrees out. Shooting "pew pew pew" style, until it dropped off. I bet waiting more between shots would have helped a lot. 12" brass .685 single ported.

I plan on using this with a 3.5oz and a five-50 pack with 3 50rd pods. I'm hoping to run out of paint the same time I run low on air.

Using a Blazer with a 12 gram is kinda sketchy because it can turn into a blender when the air gets real low.

I did my test under optimal conditions. Good ambient temps, good ball to barrel match whilst using a 10" brass barrel with single spiral porting, and I also waited approximately 3 sec in between shots. With a velocity of about 265fps, which is what I often use. 275 woods ball.
I was not checking for consistency though.
The same day I tested a Micromag with very similar results.
