Anyone make any progress? I'm still waiting for mail to get back to me.

So I got the confirmation. My letter got to his house, I believe his wife or another lady with his last name signed it. It's been a little over 3 weeks, and still no work back. I'd like to take this to the next level and try calling his house. If Brewtt would like to make the call, or someone else that knows Randall on a good enough level could call and find out what's up.

If he got the letter and your emails I highly doubt he'll come running to the phone. Looks like it's time for the law.

No one knows what happened to him. He could be ill and hospitalized, and wife is taking care of him. Calling wouldn't hurt, if anything leave voicemail and a number to be reached at. If that doesn't work, push things further.

Frankly, while I understand that life happens and also that often the more time that has passed, the harder it can be to rewind yourself and do things correctly.

If motomut were having an excusable family crisis, then it would seem to follow that, after all this time and various efforts to find him have been ignored, he is not intending to make good or inform those waiting for some response.

Give up as I have. Stop holding your breath and it will be a more relaxing (if eternal) wait.

Good luck and definitely post up if you ever crack the code.

I'll fly to Cali for spring break if it'll get me some answers. Not right to just let him disappear with all those markers. How exactly do we go about doing the lawyer and threatening letter? Might cost less in the long run to just get another blazer...

Part of being a lawyer is triage... sorta like the serenity prayer;

May the law give me the serenity to accept those things that I cannot overturn, the courage to prosecute viable claims and the wisdom to distinguish between the winners and the losers.

Drum, since you are a lawyer. Can you draft together something with legal letter head maybe that will move things along a bit? I don't know, that or someone that lives in the area go and pay him a visit?

Dude, Drum once told me if it's less than 5 figures someone owes you and it's across many state's line, that it is barely worth it at all.

You dont need a letter to take him to small claims, however between judgements and payments it's a long, perhaps eternal wait.
