I love flower photo's as it so simple to have a really good looking picture if you take your time and create a focal point on a single or clump of blossoms. Nice composition on that jt.

8/10 The vignette on this photo (I'm assuming you added it in post) kind of takes away from the shot in my opinion (I love vignettes but it doesn't seem to work on this photo for some reason...)

This was just me testing the macro abilities of one of my lenses, but it sort of came out decent...

5/10 it just blends in to much and makes it hard to focus on the flower, a tighter crop if possible would make it easier to look at.

The d40 will do 3200 and I have the original version so its pretty old and outdated.

The ISO performance on my 10D is no where near as good as that. Nice photo. I suppose I'll post one up. For your picture, I'd give it a good 7/10 for a cool shot.
