to rate the photo above mine I'd give it an 8 seems a little too tall imho the tree is neat but there's just too much fog at the top it's distracting for me. Otherwise awesome

this is after some editing in Lightroom just a great shot I got at my closest friends wedding she was the bride and after the official photog shot the ceremony she asked me to get reception shots and this one I feel was one of the best I'll throw up the full set when I'm done editing but for now here ya go and yes I know at 1600 ISO my camera generates noise it's an XTi get over it lol. I wasn't about to use flash as I felt with the ambience in the reception hall it would have been jarring to the feel of the images

Edit: here's another photo at the same event

9/10 Its great. Polarizing filter wouldn't have hurt, but great overall.

This shot I wish I'd have taken at a higher shutter speed. Also while posting this I noticed he was getting paint in his hair through the barrel slot in the shield.
Also to everyone with the superb nature shots in this thread, I'm envious of the areas you all live in, my surroundings are fairly bland in comparison.

8/10 - That is a cool pic, fater shutter would have been sweet! Only reason for an 8 is the angle makes me cock my head weird haha

Here is one on my first day doing long exposure during the day

7/10, there´s something bothering me in the composition, it would be better if no sky was showing or some more.

More fog:

7/10. His foot was cut off and it just feels a little "flat". Other than that, nice shot. I think with a little editing it could look great.

I took this shot right after getting my 70-200 f2.8. The lens is bloody fast. The tire swing that the kid was on was spinning so I Upgraded the shutter speed to 1/250. It was getting dark as well, so ISO was up to 400 and it was shot wide open.

I wish I didn't clip the top of his head off, but overall I'm pleased with this image.
