Here is my critic. I like the silhouette going on, but it's not QUITE black enough where it needs to be black. A little bit of contrast in post would fix that, or less exposure in camera would too. Overall a solid 6/10. I'd definitely edit before uploading.

9/10

Good exeption to composition rules, also like the tones and DOF. And I do love freckles.

7.5-8/10 personally since it's a kid going down a slide I might have dropped the shutter a stop or so to induce a little bit of blur to show how fast she's going down the slide. good compsition and under the circumstances of a kid and a once in a lifetime show great to just capture it period I guess

She's a cutie. Nice shot, overall. Compositionally, I might have tried to reposition the framing just a hair to get the xmas lights into the top left, as well--not sure if that was possible. With her eyes downward, the subject for me becomes her hair...which is adorable and fuzzy, but also tonally a little hard to distinguish from the background. Could maybe try a slave strobe on the floor behind her to catch highlights in the hair, add depth to separate her from the background, and also naturally achieve the "anti-vignette" effect applied in PP. Again, she's super cute...

Here's a shot from this morning on the drive out to Hogback Mountain Paintball in Leesburg, VA. Misty morning...farm pond, paintball in the distance. Note, click to see a better view, I think...thanks!

First thing that came to mind was that it wasn't wide enough. Other than that, I like the feel of the image. Just feels like the edges got shifted inward. 7/10.

Medium exposure image. ISO 100, f22, 1 second.

40mm 2.8 wide open 1/320 ISO 1600 cropped from larger image. To give some context at one point during the show each night picks a special lady in his section and will toss a rose to her as a sign he is fighting in her honor that night. Our section was the red and yellow section but this picture of the blue night was too good to pass up as they were right beside us.
