I'd give your pic a 7 Josh. The top of his head is cut off and he seems too far over to teh right in the frame the bokeh in the picture keeps drawing my eyes away from him. With that said it's nice and sharp and the bokeh is beautiful so that helps salvage it |

cute kid, I will give it a 7 as he looks just a tad underexposed(could be my work monitor though) and the highlights by his head draw my eyes Here is my attempt at skin smoothing in LR4 was shot in Calgary, Alberta

9/10 Great focus, and I love the eyes. Any smoothing to the skin seems quite natural and not overly shopped. Great work. ![]() Again, I am just starting out so any feedback is greatly appreciated. If multiple people wanted to offer feedback, please feel free to PM me and help me improve. |

Nice detail in the bird and way to get it contrasted it against the sky with that said without any context It feels a little uninteresting to me personally. I'd give a 5 or 6/10 just not too interesting visually technically quite good though. |

I think a colour image would be better, especially so the eyes can be seen. I like the compo! 8/10 Link to full size: http://www.picturesocial.com/photo/8-700 Attachment 37633

Assuming you used flash for this one. I find that using a flash without any diffusion, at least on portraits, results on a very unflattering light MOST of the time. Sometimes you can get a cool shot with it, but for general portraits I suggest using a soft box or umbrella just so it's not so harsh. Notice especially on her cheekbone and hair where the light is very harsh. If you didn't use flash, I'd say use buildings and angles to maximize your lighting available. I'd say a 6/10. Focus is smack on, and the pose is interesting to say the least. ![]() One from earlier today. More of a playful edit going on. |
