Request: Anyone have a SLR they are not using?

Looking to play around with some film. Too lazy to wander some of the photo forums right now. This would never get any response in WTB here either.

Must come with a lens around 50 mm unless its a post 1985 Canon that can take EF lenses and and is 35 mm film. Not looking to spend more than a $100 bucks or so. A Canon AE-1 or something is ideal.

Thanks!

What about something like an EOS 620/630/650? Those are probably in your range, take EF lenses and were made in the late 80's, early 90's.

It should be fairly easy to find a 35mm manual SLR with a 50/2 or 50/1.8 lens in the local shops and thrift stores.

I have a Rebel G body somewhere. I'll beat Henry's and do $45 shipped if I can find the cam and a box to fit it in. I'll even toss in the batteries if I can find those. LMK

I have a Nikon FM 10 almost new in box with the 35-70 kit lens zoom and a 50mm 1.8 AF lens. I bought it new and barely used it, Cost me about $250 new and the 50mm was probably another $50.

I also have a Minolta 7000 with a 25-105 zoom runs off AAA batteries and doesn't focus well in low lit situations but its a work horse and can score some decent photos, comes with a Cobra 300AF dedicated flash.

I also have some russian medium format cameras if you really get interested in film.

I would be willing to do $55 shipped on the Minolta, the Nikon kit with original box and 50mm I wouldn't let go for less than $120. I might be willing to do trades also.

I have a Rebel 2000. I may have the instructions, case, neck strap, etc, available too.

Minor retro post: finally got around to buying myself a SLR. Just picked up a nice Pentax Spotmatic II at random this afternoon with a 50mm 1.8 lens.

Now WTB some M42 lenses
