So a local pawn shop has a 50mm f1.8 for $80. Is that one of those deals worth jumping on?

That isn't a super amazing price, but it isn't bad. Add shipping to an eBay find, that'd cost within a few bucks the same price.

$93 plus shipping has been the lowest price I have seen for other used lenses similar to this.

Ha ha ha, well I do, but any time I start to spend money I think of the upcoming baby. Sooo...I was just seeing if that's one of those too good to pass up deals. I very rarely buy on impulse.

Like bigballa said, $80 is an alright price. Not super amazing, but alright.

If it was $60, I'd grab it in a heart beat.

$75-90 is where you should be expecting it...
