Anyone other Canadians take pictures of the fireworks in their area? I put the best of mine up on my Flickr, but here are a few previews in case you don't feel like clicking through: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And for non-Canadians around I'm sure you also have some fireworks shots. If you're American, which you probably are if you aren't Canadian and are on this forum, you'll have your Independence Day shots taken soon enough I guess .Note: this was my first attempt at firework photography, and my girlfriend also refused to let me bring along a tripod, since she thought I would look weird carrying around a tripod all day. So I definitely did move a bit during some of the shots - let's just say I was light painting with the fireworks lol.I've always thought firework photography looked really nice, and I'm pretty happy with how my first attempts at it turned out. So lets see some more from everyone else!

Stabilize Your Camera for $1 with a Washer, Bolt, and String If you run 2 strings and washers to each foot, it's just about tripod stable (but harder to set up). | |

here is one of the better ones.....sorry about the house in the pic - this was taken from my back yard and the wife was sick of me messing with my camera rather than watching the show. Shot with my T2.i set on a Tripod just on non-flash mode. Also cropped a bit

missed the fireworks, too tired from playing that day to go. A tripod would have been really helpful for long exposures not sure though how convenient that would have been with the amount of people celebrating at your location. Nice pics btw.
