Aaron LeCain's Black and White Gallery

I have been working on these for quite a while. All of my Photos were taken with a Sony A77 and processed on Photoshop CS5 and uploaded on photobucket. I am always learning new things as I am self taught in Photoshop and digital photography.
I am looking for constructive criticism and pointers. There are quite a few pictures here so enjoy.

“Cat Tail”

“Redneck”

“Grill”

“Jamestown Wall”

“Mouth of the Robot”

“The Path”

“Hammer and Anvil”

“Window”

“Tilt’n Diner”

“The Photographer” (Happy Accident)

“Saw”

“Pin”

“My Girls”

“Lock”

“Wife”

“Honeymoon Sunset”

“Home”

“Gate”

“Falls”

“Chimney”

“The Canterbury Patriot”

“The Canterbury Lantern”

The Canterbury Bridge”

“Chain”

“Bunker” (Creative lighting)

“Basin Rock”

I love "grill". It's my favorite one in the set.

LOVE the shots! Great job!

Some really beautiful shots in there. There's something striking about B&W photos of history crumbling away. That photo of the rails you titled "The Path" I particularly liked for some reason. The broken down and decaying ties, the thick woods looming up on both sides gave me a very post-apocalyptic vibe.

There are three pictures that are not from NH. The Honeymoon Sunset (Key West), Jamestown Wall (Jamestown, VA), and Chimney (Jamestown, VA).

The rest were just around Concord NH or the seacoast.

very nice set. i feel that some of these could have used a touch more contrast as they seemed to be very grey... "Chain" "Jamestown Wall" and "Cattail" mostly. focus seems a little off in a couple, mostly "tilt'n Diner"

other than those little details, everything looks great.

i want to see some of these in color as well... especially "teeth"

I love alot of contrast. I pushed those images to the breaking point. any further on the contrast I loose detail.

Yep it is. When we were there taking pictures we ran into a guy that had been down into it before it was sealed up. He said it was a maze of tunnels and rooms. I would love to explore it sometime.
