Arnt i doing editing same as you are. I could pull the photo and export it to photoshop same as you. Just to clarify i have a great respect for photographers as artist and in no way am i arguing that they are not a valued member of the arts. I just find it funny how sensitive they are especially when forced to xhoose one or the other brides always choose photographers

Actually thats a good point especially when you can buy your own diagnostic and google the codes for cheap

Well i can only speak from my experience and from my experience ill never take my car to a mom and pop shop again. I paid the guy 500 so he could stare at it for two weeks to tell me he doesnt have the tos to fix it and i should takr it to the dealership. I told him from now on ill just do that from the start.

Prints. Aspect ratios aside, full HD lacks the resolution for even a 5x7" print, and is way too compressed to stand up against a still.

Totally agree. Videographers have a much harder job than photographers. Snapping a moment is not hard. Shooting video is much more difficult. I used to use all 3/4 IN. equipment when shooting video, and it was a real chore to edit. We are spoiled today. If I'm paid to shoot video, I always rent the equipment necessary, along with an editing suite. It is all directly billable back to the client. I have rented lenses for a few weddings as well, but the cost of renting photo gear is negligible in comparison.
